A Message From 2013 IUURC Local Host Dr. Yolanda Treviño:

Richard WardWelcome! I am pleased to announce the nineteenth annual Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference (IUURC). IUURC is a state-wide conference designed to be an excellent opportunity for students to present their research findings to an engaged and diverse set of peers, learn more about research opportunities, and make new colleagues.

This year’s planning committee is proud to host the nineteenth conference at the Bloomington campus on November 22, 2013. “Learning through Research” is the IUURC19 conference theme and fits well with IU’s mission to provide outstanding academic programs.

I am excited to announce a new intercampus collaboration with the IUURC - a series of free webinars for beginners and first time presenters to a large research conference. Each pre-conference webinar will be followed by a short interactive question and answer period. Webinars are open to all IU students even if they do not plan on presenting or attending the conference in November.

Whether IUURC19 is your next step as an emerging researcher or you are new to research all-together, I encourage you to fully engage in and benefit from all of the conference’s programs and activities.

We look forward seeing you at the IUURC 19 in November!

Sincerely,

Dr. Yolanda Treviño, Ph.D
2013 IUURC Local Host
Assistant Dean, Indiana University Graduate School
